Group presentation evaluation
I believe that our presentation went well. We chose a good film opening ‘The Dark Knight’ which contained lots of diegetic and non-diegetic sounds. We included information about what the meanings of diegetic and non-diegetic sounds are, what we could find of them in the film opening, how they were created and how the sounds set a mood.
If we could of changed anything, I think that we would include more information on each slide about the topic and go more in depth with the subject. Also we should have been more open when doing our presentation and not relied on the script so much.
I believe that we that we did use our glossary well when producing our presentation. We used our glossary to help us understand the meanings of different words this helped us to write more about the different topics.
I leant a lot in this task including lots of different meaning when looking at sound e.g ambient sound, sound bridges, contrapuntal sound, SFX, diegetic and non-diegetic sound. I learnt how to listen to sound and analysis it into different groups.
Group 1: Dark Knight – Jon and Jess
